Getting to our weed club from Málaga
- By train from the city centre: Take the C1 from Málaga Centro-Alameda towards Fuengirola. El Pinillo, the nearest station to the club, is about 27 minutes away; from there it's a walk of about 1.6 km, 20 to 25 minutes. Or stay on to Benalmádena-Arroyo de la Miel, around 30 minutes from the centre, and take the M-121 or M-126 bus to the Puerto Marina stop.
- By bus, direct: The M-110 runs from the Muelle Heredia bus terminal in the city centre, also stopping at Estación Tren Málaga, all the way to the Puerto Marina stop in around 45 minutes, roughly every quarter of an hour in the daytime and a little less often on Sundays.
- From the airport: Catch the C1 at the airport's own station, heading for Fuengirola. El Pinillo is about 15 minutes along the line, and the walk from there takes 20 to 25 minutes. By taxi, it's around 11 km.
- Heading home: From El Pinillo, trains back to Centro-Alameda take about 28 minutes. Check the time of the last train on renfe.com before you set out.

The association reviews every application, and membership is personal: it can't be shared or passed on.
Is weed legal in Málaga?
Andalusia has no regional law on cannabis associations, so the national rules apply in Málaga, as anywhere else in Spain. Personal use in private isn't a crime. Out in public it's different: in the streets of the centre or on La Malagueta beach, using cannabis, or just having it on you, is an administrative offence that can lead to a fine.
Medicinal cannabis is a separate matter. Since October 2025, Royal Decree 903/2025 has set the rules for standardised cannabis preparations used as medicines: only hospital specialists can prescribe them, and hospital pharmacy services prepare and supply them. A cannabis association is not a medical service.
